Patek Philippe

Founded by Antoni Patek, a Polish watchmaker, when he began manufacturing pocket watches in 1839. Patek began working with a French watchmaker, Adrien Philippe, who invented the keyless winding mechanism. Patek Philippe was established in 1851 and grew into one of the most well-known and respected watch brands.

With many experimentations and perseverance Patek Philippe pioneered the chronograph, minute repeater, split-seconds hand and the perpetual calendar. Patek Philippe acquired the reputation as a watch company with expensive taste and Patek Philippe even provided watches for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. For the 150th anniversary, Patek Philippe manufactured the Calibre 89, with 39 complications.

Known for their Grand Complications, the Calatrava, Gondolo, Golden Ellipse, Nautilus, Aquanaut, Twenty~4 and many pocket watches. 

Producers of the most complicated timepiece in the world and record holder of the most expensive watch ever sold at auction. Patek Philippe is the pinnacle of  watchmaking.
